Double Chocolate Mint Smoothie

Chocolate protein powder and cacao powder give our shake two times the flavor – a rich dose of chocolate with a hint of mint.

Chocolate mint smoothie shake recipe clean eating

Ingredients

  • 8 oz milk (or unsweetened rice, soy or almond milk)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (about 1/4 cup)
  • 2 tbsp 70% cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds
  • 15 fresh mint leaves (about 1 1/2 tbsp loosely packed)
  • 5 ice cubes

Preparation

  1. In a blender, put milk, protein powder, cacao powder, flaxseeds, mint leaves and ice.
  2. Blend on high for about 1 to 2 minutes or until ice is fully broken down and combined.
  3. Pour into 2 glasses and enjoy!
