Regular peanut butter is delicious, it’s true, but the goodness of the peanuts is drowned out by the abundance of sugar, chemicals and hydrogenated oil in most brands. Natural nut butters are a better choice since they contain only the nuts and whatever oils are naturally found in those nuts. Look for brands containing the minimum number of ingredients. Add nut butters to apples, oatmeal, smoothies and wraps for a protein-rich, healthy-fat, clean-eating option. Yum!
