In my early twenties, I packed my bags and traveled to Italy in hopes of falling in love. Well, I did fall in love, but just not in the way I expected. I became enamored with the culture of enjoying long produce-rich meals with family and friends, eating made-from-scratch foods using whole grains and legumes, and the concept that movement and balance are essential to a healthy life. Years later, I’m still a proponent of the Mediterranean style of living and I believe there is a lot to learn from it. We need to forget about dieting and, like many Europeans do, we need to think about the total health picture—and I’m here to help you do just that.
Here’s how:
As the nutrition coach for Clean Eating magazine’s upcoming #GoClean45 Challenge, my mission is to help you fall in love with delicious foods that enable you to live a happy and energetic life. I also plan to show you how to make meal preparation simple and sustainable in the process.
In this challenge, I’m going to give you all the tools you need to rebuild your health from the ground up. You’ll get weekly lessons on how to balance your meals, choose the best foods to improve your energy and learn about hot-button topics such as gut health, mood-boosting foods and allergies. I’ll also provide you with more than 50 clean and varied recipes to choose from and six weeks of detailed meal plans including breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. You’ll have everything you need at your fingertips, and you’ll never feel deprived.
Another benefit of eating clean is that what’s good for your health—lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and legumes with small amounts of high-quality protein—is also great for our planet. And I love that nourishing our bodies so beautifully can also impact our environment for the better. I’m going to show you tips and techniques to make more sustainable choices and eliminate unnecessary waste.
This program is really about transforming from a diet mindset into a total health mindset. So you can love and nourish your body the right way—and step into your best life. Are you ready to drop what’s not working for you and start building new, cleaner, greener habits?
Take the challenge, change forever! Sign up now for our 45-day preholiday transformation journey #GoClean45 with Kate Geagan and Gillian Mandich.
