Golden Milk

This beautiful golden-colored warm drink is both soothing and creamy. Turmeric has countless health benefits including being anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, liver detoxifying, good for brain function, lowering triglycerides, promoting digestive health, regulating metabolism, boosting the immune system and also has potent anti-cancer properties.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup cashew/coconut milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1tsp grated ginger or 1/4 tsp ground ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tsp raw honey or to taste
  • Dash of black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

Bring all the ingredients into a gentle simmer over low heat in a small sauce pan and heat for 5-7 minutes. Strain and drink immediately.
