Sure you could drink a regular margarita. But have you considered a watermelon margarita instead? It’s like a grown-up slushee in the best possible way, and ever so refreshing. You can blitz the ingredients to your desired thickness, but we like blended until it reaches a fairly liquid state. You can always add ice cubes to the glass if desired.

Blended Watermelon Margarita Recipe

  • 2 cups diced, seeded watermelon, frozen
  • ¾ cup tequila
  • ⅓ cup Triple Sec
  • 1 Tbs. organic cane sugar, plus extra as needed
  • 2 Tbs. lime juice
  • 2 cups crushed ice

Place frozen watermelon, tequila, Triple Sec, sugar and lime juice in blender; process until smooth. Add ice; process again until smooth. Serve in glasses rimmed with sugar, and garnish with lime and orange slices, if desired.
