Matcha Smoothies

Smoothies are the ultimate take-to-go breakfast, but it’s easy to fall into a smoothie rut. Our secret? Switch up the flavor by adding matcha, a finely ground green tea that adds sweet, earthy flavor and a power punch of antioxidants.
Matcha Smoothies Recipe

Opt for culinary-grade matcha, which is less expensive, for blended drinks and baking recipes.

  • Duration
  • Prep Time
  • 2Servings

  • 2 bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 2 cups lightly packed baby spinach
  • 1 1/4 cups plain unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup chopped pineapple
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth.

Make it a smoothie pack: For effortless mornings, prep the banana, spinach, pineapple, hemp and matcha in advance and store in a container in the freezer. Simply blend with almond milk and vanilla when you’re ready to drink.
