Spiced Pear Oatmeal

This version of oatmeal features a seasonal combination of warm spices, vanilla and maple syrup plus a collagen boost to start your day right.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Pecan Milk (see recipe) or dairy or non-dairy milk of choice
- 1/2 cup diced pear
- 1/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp each ground cinnamon and cardamom
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 scoop collagen powder
- 2 tbsp chopped pecans
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
Preparation
1. In a small saucepan on medium high,
bring milk, pear, oats, oil,
cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla
to a boil; reduce heat to medium low
and simmer 8 minutes or until
desired consistency is reached.
2. Remove from heat and stir in
collagen. Transfer to a bowl and top
with pecans and maple syrup.
