Everyday Pesto

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh basil
- 1 cup baby spinach
- ¼ cup toasted almonds
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- 2–3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp each sea salt and ground black pepper
Preparation
- To a food processor, add all ingredients and blend until a paste forms. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use in Egg in a Hole and Loaded Veggie Mini Pizzas. Makes ¾ cup.
