Ingredients

Sumac fries

  • 1 1/4 lb Scrubbed Russet potatoes, skin on
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp red sumac, or to taste

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Meanwhile, cut potatoes into ¼ x 3-inch sticks. In a bowl, toss fries with oil and salt.

2. On 2 parchment-lined baking sheets, spread out fries so they are not overlapping and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove fries from oven, carefully turn each over. Switch positions of baking sheets and bake for another 10 minutes until fries are crispy and deep golden brown.

3. Remove from oven; sprinkle fries with sumac.
