Smoker Dry Rub Seasoning

This dry rub is perfect for seasoning most smoked meats.

Use this rub on baby back ribs! 

Makes: 1 generous cup


  • 1/3 cup maple sugar
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1/4 cup black pepper
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • 1 ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp ancho chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper


  1. Mix all ingredients together and use as needed to season ribs or other meats.
  2. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in a cool, dry location for up to 3 months.
