Apple Oats
Diced apple tossed with cinnamon and ground flaxseed are a perfectly easy — and healthy — breakfast to power you through your day.

Ingredients
½ cup each oats and diced apple
½ tsp cinnamon
pinch salt
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1½ tsp maple syrup
Preparation
1. Cook oats, apple, cinnamon and salt in 1 cup boiling water for 5 minutes.
2. Add flaxseed, remove from heat, cover and set aside for 2 minutes. Top with maple syrup.
