The Impossible Burgers and Beyond Meats of the world are found at just about every fast food restaurant and grocery store but they are highly processed with a laundry list of manufactured ingredients. Even though they are fortified with some nutrients and minerals, they are far less nutritious for you than real-food plant-based proteins like seaweed, legumes, nuts and more. 

But let’s be honest, no plant-based eater can subsist on nothing but legumes, day after day. I can totally comprehend your desire for juicy, flavorful plant-based burgers, tacos and meatballs. This means that our dietary choices can make a difference and be healthier in the long term for our bodies and the earth. 

There’s a wide variety of cuisines around the world that have now adapted to use meat alternatives, and you can easily make the switch to balance out your consumption too!
