- 2 tsp olive oil
- ¼ cup minced yellow onion
- ½ tsp minced fresh garlic
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- ¼ tsp sea salt, or to taste
- ½ cup brown rice, rinsed
- 1¼ cups low-sodium chicken broth
